The Agency 89 staff represents some of the most experienced and successful talent in the area. Each were selected not only for their specialized knowledge and experience, but also their ability to transfer this to their students.




- Shannon N. Young – Operations Manager

Miss Young is a dual degree graduate from Dana College where she took on many leadership roles: Senate Vice President (2 terms), Academic Honors, and varsity basketball. Young is no stranger to the stage, as she is a former Miss Nebraska, National American, top-ten Semi-finalist and Evening Gown winner of Miss NE USA.



- Carla Liberty - Booking Director


Miss Liberty is a New Orleans native but has resided in Omaha since 2003. Carla is currently a student at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She previously attended the University of Nebraska –Lincoln where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Carla joined 89 Talent Management in February 2010 and brings seven years of direct sales and recruiting experience to the company. Her leadership skills and sales ability have helped 89 Talent to further develop their client and talent market on both a regional and national level. Carla has also modeled in her free time over the years. She was featured in several commercials produced by Time Warner Cable and has also done promotional work in Lincoln, Omaha and Kansas City.



- Christie Kruger – Promotions Director

Miss Kruger has been in the modeling industry for the last 10 years. After being discovered by the owner of Model Search America at the age of 13, she signed with Exposure Model & Talent in Kansas City. She later went on to sign with Ford Chicago and appear in local, regional, national and international print campaigns for companies like Gordman’s, Cox, Pamida, Wells Fargo, Younkers, Sprint, Helzberg Diamond, Payless Shoes and Kohl’s. She also has extensive experience in runway and commercials. Christie has worked for two local modeling agencies as a Booking Agent: Reel People Model & Talent, and KLAE Management.



- Kellie Konz – Staff Editor

Miss Konz is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree. Before joining Agency 89, she worked at two television stations in the Omaha area, KPTM Fox 42 and most recently, KETV Newswatch 7. In both roles she held a Producer position, writing the content for local newscasts and special projects.



- Becky Hoesing - Media Relations

Miss Hoesing graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor's degree and moved on to pursue her graduate degree from Creighton University. She joins with 89 team taking charge of events, shoots and other media items. Miss Hoesing has continued to work in the beauty industry, managing marketing for BOSS Studio Salons. She has produced many local fashion events and brings great experience to the 89 team!



- Maggie Gaeta – School Director, Instructor

Mrs. Gaeta holds a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in education. She taught modeling workshops for MCC's College For Kids program and has worked in the local commercial market as well as print modeling. Maggie has been very involved in the curriculum development for the 89 Academy.
